About Joe Tamassy

Joe Tamassy

I was born in Preston in 1957, took up art on the side whilst running a successful cab business in the City of Lancaster. Over twenty years I've developed my art style and I've been fortunate to become a popular artist, taking on commission work for the likes of Morecambe Football Club, Bay Radio, as well as galleries and collectors across the country. My approach has matured since the early days, into the current iconic style you see today. Sepia scenes of cities and towns across the country, incorporating reflections into streets, puddles, rivers, and seas. I've had the chance to create some creative art that's been fun and interesting. I like to say thank you to everyone that has bought my work and supported me on this journey....
